Desire, despair and redemption take center stage as the season concludes with Giselle. One of ballet’s most enduring and celebrated works since its 1841 premiere, it is the story of a young woman whose love survives—beyond death—to save the man who betrayed her. Be transported into a haunting world of secrecy and spirits, and discover why dance is not for the faint of heart.

NBT Presents Insights on Saturday, May 9 at 6:45 pm, prior to the 7:30 performance and Sunday, May 10 at 1:15 pm, prior to the 2 pm performance. A free, pre-performance experience with in-depth commentary and multimedia content, Insights will take place 45 minutes prior to curtain in the Troesh Studio Theater at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts. Patrons must have a ticket to the performance to attend.
