With orchestra

Live Music Generously Sponsored by Doris & Theodore Lee

Love, in its many guises, changes us forever. Feel its thrill all over again with Nevada Ballet Theatre’s season opener, enriched with live orchestra. Experience the state of change that flows through relationships and through nature in Paul Vasterling’s Seasons, set to Antonio Vivaldi’s masterpiece, “The Four Seasons.” Then, revel in the heart’s follies with George Balanchine’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream Act I. Shakespeare’s classic comedy of young lovers, mischievous spells and mistaken identities is transformed into a vibrant ballet featuring the lush score of Felix Mendelssohn and including over 20 young dancers from the Academy of Nevada Ballet Theatre.
